Modern, in a clear design and new colors: that is the new brand identity of PP LIVE (previously PP Events & Promotions) reflected in the company's recent relaunch. The live communication specialists based in Frankfurt and Cologne present themselves on the occasion of their 30th anniversary with a new, freshly sharpened profile.
"The new name and look reflect our current self-image as experts for holistic brand showcasing", explains CEO Bernd Nagel, who founded the agency together with Erich Göttmann 30 years ago in Frankfurt. To this day, the development, planning and execution of events and face-to-face point-of-sale measures remain the core business of PP; however, the range of services has been further diversified. This also corresponds to the changes that have taken place in the communication environment over the past years: Before, predominantly larger enterprises made use of live communication as a means to showcase their brand. SMEs usually only utilized our services for celebrations such as company anniversaries. In times of dwindling target group binding by means of classic advertising methods, more and more SMEs have come to appreciate the emotional effects of customer, employee and consumer events. Nagel: "We support these customers in achieving their marketing aims with a holistic consulting service that clearly goes far beyond the mere design of live communication, also involving instruments of classic as well as digital communication."
The key success factor in live communication is qualified staff
Events, brands and people are the three categories that PP services are divided into, which are clearly presented on the newly designed website (www.pp-live.com). Be it a company event, classic promotion or sales consulting at the point of sale, the central aspect of live communication involves the people who perform the respective measure. "This is also why - in addition to our experienced core team of 30 employees - we operate a subsidiary called PP Service that focuses on the provision of qualified specialists and promotional experts for all facets of live communication", reports Thorsten Radtke, who as second managing director of PP LIVE heads, among others, the units HR and Process Optimization. The data pool encompasses some 5,000 such brand ambassadors from which PP Service can coordinate the perfect team for any assignment. We have also developed our own proprietary web-based software which supports our customers in performing quality control and in the daily reflection of results.
Establishing successful customer relationships means thinking outside of the box
After three decades in the market, PP LIVE can build on a homegrown customer base with long-standing business partners such as Deutsche Bank, Peugeot and Philips. "They enjoy working with PP because we approach each and every project with eyes wide open and 100% dedication", Nagel describes the basis of successful customer relationships. Creativity and execution, however, still have to be put to the test with every new order. Of course the proximity to our clients, such as L’Oreal and Targobank, is certainly an advantage – and also a further reason to open a second location in Cologne one-and-a-half years ago, which is headed by Patrick Birkenfeld.
