IAA 2019: Jaguar Land Rover again relies on the expertise of the PP Group


Once again the PP Group took part in the 68th International Motor Show IAA in Frankfurt for Jaguar Land Rover. PP SERVICE provided the majority of the stand personnel for the company's presence at the motor show, with 42 hostesses and hosts, supplemented by APS employees. The project management was handled by the PP LIVE trade fair and event experts.

In addition to the world premiere of the new Land Rover Defender, the display of the entire model range and the presentation of numerous innovative technologies, the highly topical subject of electromobility was the focus of the trade fair presentation - fully in line with this year's IAA motto "Driving tomorrow".

Experience, learn, join in - with interactive presentations, a Formula E simulator and the Defender Virtual Reality Experience Zone, visitors to the Jaguar Land Rover stand in Hall 11 were able to experience the many facets of electrification and future mobility for both brands.

The supervision of these activities required an understanding of digital applications such as virtual reality when selecting personnel. Other prerequisites were of course an affinity for automobiles, a pronounced understanding of the target group in the premium segment as well as very good language skills and a customer-oriented appearance.

Following a multi-stage selection process, the personnel selected by PP SERVICE and Jaguar Land Rover were prepared for their tasks in the Jaguar Land Rover Academy within the framework of a trade fair training course lasting several days (incl. product training). In addition to the classic areas of application such as the Welcome Desk and Car Explainer, the core tasks of the stand personnel also included conducting exclusive guided tours of the stand and supporting the Virtual Reality stations.
