Selecting the right bank is often also a matter of trust – as is commissioning an agency to generate a friendly public image, interest, and curiosity for the bank using suitable tools. Implemented for the grand openings and reopenings of TARGOBANK branches in the new local environment, through generation of awareness using stilt walkers, a TARGOBANK promotion vehicle, balloon decorations, and other promotions in front of the branch. Or the distribution of giveaways in the area such as goodie bags and flowers, in conjunction with a competition and pickup of instant wins inside the branch. Following analysis, a concept needed to be developed for each branch based on local circumstances. The result: the new “neighbors” were well received and accepted with a sense of trust, as could be seen alone by the increase in visits to the bank by residents, acceptance of the promotions, and participation in the competitions.
