In the case of the former Hessian Junior Tennis Champion, “Johnny” Heimes, who had been diagnosed with cancer at an early age, PP LIVE was able to volunteer its services for great social events offering hope – with the utmost conviction. Johnny’s motivational motto – "Du musst kämpfen!" / "You have to fight!" – was also the ever-present driving force behind the PP LIVE event team, encouraging everyone to get involved in the cause, which collected donations for children and teens with cancer. For example, with the focus YOU HAVE TO FIGHT! Tennis trophy 2015 and the following summer party at the TEC Darmstadt facilities, the local club of Johnny Heimes and his friend and professional tennis player Andrea Petkovic, who fought the battle with him.

The result was donations amounting to hundreds of thousands of euros, collected through events and promotions of the YOU HAVE TO FIGHT! benefits series and presented to Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder Frankfurt e.V. Along with the aim to raise awareness of the initiative and spread Johnny Heimes’ credo: “Sports work like a medicine.” We’re happy to continue fighting.
