At the end of January the time has finally come. On January 24th, vocational students of the Stauffenbergschule in Frankfurt will be holding the event "Kuleana - Green Market" in the Bornheim town hall.
Nik Yates, our up-and-coming event manager here at PP LIVE, will be there also. As part of his class training, he and 20 classmates had to organize an event independently, relying completely on donations.
"Kuleana - Green Market" is an environmentally friendly, public and free event with sustainable exhibitors, interactive workshops, live music and infotainment. The aim is to create a new platform for the exchange of sustainable ideas through personal conversations and to raise the visitors awareness for climate protection.
In the Frankfurter Rundschau, Nik Yates, together with his fellow project management colleagues Sarah Korzuscheck and Toni Volkov, report on how the name "Kuleana" even came to be, the concept behind this new format and the planning of this non-commercial event.
