An extraordinary whiskey tasting event, an original American barbecue and various interactive workshops - these were the ingredients with which the Frankfurt-based event agency PP LIVE celebrated the roadshow "The Home of Maker's Mark" for the BEAM Suntory Germany. Special focus: the internationally renowned bourbon whiskey and the product highlight Maker's 46.
With the aim of addressing a target group consisting of restaurateurs and barkeepers in an appropriate culinary setting, the series of events were held at trendy locations of the culinary scene in four German metropolises.
Besides the entirely personal "taste experience" during the tasting of elaborate Maker's Mark drinks, the objective of the event was also to emotionalize the brand itself. This was done with a diversified range of workshops involving the themes Original Kentucky Barbecue and Homemade Sauces and Marinades. In a casual atmosphere, professional culinary and whiskey experts revealed valuable tips and tricks of the trade for preparing culinary taste sensations.
Also the rustic "handmade" look of the locations reflected the brand world. This was particularly highlighted by the inviting wooden decoration and the cozy vintage furniture emulating the atmosphere of Maker's Mark Distillery in Kentucky.
